The Title

I don’t know if what I write should be based on the Title, or if the Title should be based on what I write.

What do the greats write first ?

The story ?

The Title ?

The beginning ?

The end ?

I don’t know, I need to think, I’m gonna brush my teeth and reflect on this.

I’m back now. With a black coffee and even more questions.

See? This is what happens when I don’t write the Title first. I just write unnecessary things. Nobody wants to read about some young wannabe Creative Director brushing his teeth.

I need to focus. Choosing the Title first will help with that. I think. I hope.

But.

Isn’t it just fun to write all my thoughts. My pen, my notebook, and my mind. The ink just flooding out as fast as I think. From head to paper, no obstacles.

Without any rules and rails, I just can write.

But what’s the point in the end? I started this diary to practice my copywriting skills. To become a Creative Director.

And, every Creative Director has a brief. Some kind of direction they need to follow.

My Titles. My Titles will be my briefs. They will be the boundaries of my thoughts and my words.
From now, I always will write down the Title before the Story.
